SLRD Men’s Club Director’s Meeting

Meeting Date:  October 14, 2008 

Board members in attendance:  Ray Gray (RG), Steve Diersing (SD), Richard Tammone (RT), Greg Milligan (GM), Roger McKee (RM), Jerry Marheine (JM), Mark Nesti (MN), and Wayne Van Der Linden (WV).

1. RG called meeting to order at 4:06 PM.

2. Minutes for August meeting were reviewed and amended.  MN moved and seconded by SD.  Board voted unanimously.

3. Financial report for August and September were presented by RT.  August Opening balance: $22,117.85, Income $1602.57, Expenses $2,717.43, closing balance $21,002.99.  September Opening balance $21,002.99, Income $$122.14, Expenses $2,906.94, Ending balance $18,218.19. Corrections were made to interest in September from $2.57 to $2.14.    WV moved to accept and GM seconded, approved by board unanimously.

4. JM reported that approximately 34 low handicappers would like to play in a special division in the upcoming M-M tournament in December.  JM will report to board in November actual formatting and scoring for the gross division.  JM will supervise the gross division.

5. Score card audit report was presented by WV.  WV gave a two month report for Wednesday play (short one week);  Total players 611, total posting errors 190, Percent 31%.

6. No further business, meeting was adjourned by RG at 5:15 PM.
