SLRD Men’s Club Director’s Meeting

 Meeting Date:  December 9, 2008

 Board members in attendance: Richard Tammone (RT), Ray Gray (RG), Steve Diersing (SD), Mark Nesti (MN), Greg Milligan (GM), Roger McKee (RM), Jerry Marheine (JM), and Wayne Van Der Linden (WV).

1. Meeting called to order by RG at 4:00 PM.
2. Minutes from November were presented by WV.  With no corrections, RM moved to accept and seconded by RT.  Board unanimously approved.
3. Financial report for November was presented by RT.  With no corrections WV moved to accept and seconded by MN.  Board approved unanimously.  Beginning balance $16,874.59, Income $0.88, Expenses $1,305.50, Ending Balance $15,569.97.
4. Budget discussions will be on the agenda for January meeting.
5. RM present final Member – Member formats and suggest prize money to be set aside.  RM suggested that the Men’s Club guarantee $2000 in addition to raffle tickets plus $250 for three par three hole awards.
6. Ernie Ortiz (non-board member) presented to the board the upcoming Saturday team play.  He needs 24 players.  Play starts on January 10, 2009 against the other three teams.
7. WV presented the Wednesday audit reports.  One issue that is increasing in frequency is the posting of scores but failure to turn in score cards.  The main occurring problem is failure to post scores, following play on Wednesday, using the computer in the golf shop.
8. With no further business the meeting was adjourned at 5:10 PM by RG.
